A great exercise for developing power and length through the chest. The pec major is one of the main muscles in the shoulders that helps the arm rotate inwards and therefore will have a massive contribution to the power of your downswing.
An Insiders Tip..
When doing this exercise, pull your shoulder blades back and imagine you are trying to "pinch" them together throughout the whole duration of the exercise!
This actually lengthens the muscle and puts it under more stress and therefore works the fibers better.
